facilitiesDescription The campground offers tent and trailer sites, as well as accommodations for larger vehicles. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire ring. Comfort stations, showers, laundry facilities, and a dumping station are part of the campground. A protected swimming beach is available when lifeguards are on duty.

importantInformation Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice. See HERE for all current swimming closures! IMPORTANT: New York State Parks encourages everyone to be safe outdoors. Please take a few moments to read about the health risks associated with tick bites and some simple steps you can take to safeguard you and your family. http://www.governor.ny.gov/press/04092014Ticks To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Pets are not permitted on any site at the park. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted. This rule is strictly enforced and coolers will be checked upon arrival. There are NO electric or water sites in this campground. No check-ins will be accepted after 10pm. Walk-ins must arrive before 9 p.m. The A section is only open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. All campers must be 21 years old or accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites. Platform sites can only accommodate tents. Platforms are 14ft x14ft. Sites are limited to a maximum of 6 people at all times, this includes visitors. Kiln-dried firewood is available for purchase at the Camp Office beginning in April. During peak season, a camping party and their equipment may occupy a site for a maximum of 14 continuous days. After which, the camping party and equipment must leave the site and facility for 2 days before registering again for another site. RV and Trailers should enter the park from County Route 106 either from Harriman / Tuxedo or Stony Point. RV and Trailers are not permitted on the Palisades Parkway. Alcohol is NOT permitted in this campground.
